  The ongoing Research and Innovations in Science and Technology of Materials special issue covers topics from fundamental research and development of new nanomaterials, to their industrial implementation and testing. Articles may cover:

  Design of and fundamental research on nanomaterials
  Development of fabrication and synthesis processes
  Testing and characterisation in academic lab and industrial environments
  Road to commercialisation and implementation in the market

  The peer-reviewed, extended conference proceedings of the CRISTMAS 2023 (13-15 December 2023, Paris, France) and CRISTMAS 2024 (10-13 December 2024, Paris, France) form a part of this special issue.
